Jess Tollestrup is a musician and spoken word poet from rural southern Alberta. Using a looping pedal, they fuse guitar, vocal harmonies, piano, mouth percussion, and spoken word into haunting compositions that play with form and merge disciplines. In 2017 they released their EP 'The Pluto Year', which tells the strange stories they've accumulated - curses, hitchhiking, body removal, and the like. Notable performances include South Country Fair, Vancouver Poetry Slam, CFSW 2017, and the Edmonton Fringe Festival.
