Published by Noma Music USA, Calgary based singer songwriter Amy Lee Owens brings new depth and dimension to her undeniably hooky and heart-driven breed of r&b soul music. Amy has built up credibility in the music industry over the years. Starting her stage career at 8 years older, performing at The Calgary Stampede Grandstand Show for 10 years of her life. She went on to lead her own r&b/ Motown band in early 2005. During this time, she was the opening act for Ashanti, Blu Cantrell, Eve, 112 & Snoop Dogg. In 2011, Amy was sought after my producing team Suges & Martino to collaborate on a euro dance track. They teamed up to create “Single Woman” which was written, released and distributed in 2011 through Soul Stream Records. The music video for Amy’s single “No Boys” was released in 2012, landing in high rotation on Much Music & MTV. The release of Amy’s following singles “Don’t Leave”, “I Can’t Remember”, “Bad News” & “Without You” lead to interviews with Moov Magazine, Indikator Magazine, radio play in Dagnestan, Russia on PriBoy Radio and a publishing deal with Noma Music USA. “I’m in Love”, Amy’s single on the album “Feel the Beat” debuted and topped the Juno Charts at #1 the first week it was released in January 2014 through Universal Music Canada. Amy just released her newest single called "Run to Me" in September 2024, and is now performing her music live around Calgary. Amy's live show consists of some of the best cover songs from artists such as: Amy Winehouse, John Lennon, Adele, Whitney Houston, The Beatles, Billie Eilish to name a few, mixed in with a few of Amy's original songs.
