Cheyanne Summer is an emerging Canadian artist. In 2017 she moved to Alberta to pursue her musical ambition. With influences such as The Beach Boys, The Chicks, Billy Joel and Patsy Cline—Cheyanne has a timeless vibe that’s delivered with soul and emotion. She’s moulded a sound that’s quite unique.
Growing up in Kelowna, Cheyanne was musical from a young age and began singing early. She soon began to sing the national anthem for local hockey teams and the BC Lions. Not only was she actively singing in the community on weekends, Cheyanne also got asked to sing for a “Christmas Light Up”, “Music in the Park” and a “Canada Day” festival.
Cheyanne learned guitar in her teens as a channel for her emotions. She posted many Instagram covers and was asked to add vocals on a couple of tracks for a Toronto rapper. Before discovering her own artistic style, Cheyanne sang along with many instrumental tracks.
Cheyanne now focuses on writing and performing her own stories. She’s recently released 4 singles with Blonde and the Bear and is now working on an EP. As well, Cheyanne is working on a solo EP under her own name.
