Broken Headlights features Ivy Poon on guitar and vocals, and Isaiah Ling on percussion and drums. The duo has performed at local markets and events since 2016, including the University of Alberta SUBStage Sessions, Citadel Theatre Busker Series, Old Strathcona Farmers' Market, Callingwood Farmers' Market, and more. They perform a combination of original and cover songs that are playful, recognizable, and appealing to listeners of all ages. Ivy is a graduate of the Bachelor of Music / Bachelor of Elementary Education program at the University of Alberta. She studied violin with Robert Uchida and was a violinist in the University Symphony Orchestra from 2016 to 2020. Isaiah is a graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Bachelor of Secondary Education programs at the University of Alberta. He enjoys audio engineering and recorded and produced the duo's debut single.
