Bittersweet, a trio emerging in 2022, brings together retirees Tannis Bentley (vocals, ukulele), Bill Bentley (vocals, ukulele) and Murray Little (vocals, bass, ukulele). Anxious to play again publicly after COVID; Bittersweet began entertaining at local senior’s residences with a well-received combination of old-time folk, blues and jazz standards. Bittersweet enjoys putting new spins on beloved songs with the occasional original thrown in to keep things interesting. Bittersweet performs tunes that span decades of musical inspiration crossing many different genres. There is something for everyone. In addition to entertaining at senior residences, Bittersweet has performed at the Rocky Mountain Folk Club and Community Associations in Calgary.standards. They have also performed at the Rocky Mountain Folk Club and continue to pursue seniors venues as well as folk clubs and community associations.
