The Royal Cajun Band: Cajun music is music to dance to, music that makes you feel good, music that makes you want to let go and have yourself a time.
The Royal Cajun Band is a 7 piece band with guest singer. We have 4 singers, accordion, 2 fiddle players, rhythm guitar, lapsteel guitar, acoustic bass, and washboard player. The band plays music that was originally from the Acadians in eastern Canada. After the exile, huge numbers migrated to Louisiana. We carry on the tradition and play a mixture of up-beat 2 step music in French and some more popular songs in English. (like Jambalaya, etc).
