In 2022, Sans Bliss (aka Ian Robertson) founded the indie rock group | THE EXISTence | in Edmonton, featuring a full band lineup. Within two years, the band created 12+ original tracks and performed at various local Edmonton venues, including Lone Pine Distilling, Bountiful Farmers Market, Jackie Parker Park, University of Alberta - Deweys and Felice Cafe. On the social media front, the band has a Linktree site, YouTube channel, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, BandCamp and Weebly/Square Space fundraising presence for their music endeavours and activities. They also recorded their music and released it on Spotify and Apple Music with their debut single - Burning Flames and a second single called Half Close, Half Near. Currently, they have three more tracks recorded in March/April 2024 and are actively fundraising and live performing to help generate the income to record the balance of their 11-song debut studio album (LP) titled 'Behind Spines and Lifelines' with release anticipated in 2025.
