"An evening with Tim is like sitting by a fire with friends listening to great stories with an exceptional guitar player and an even better storyteller" Patrick MacIntyre - Owner, Ironwood Stage & Grill Tim’s successful debut 2015 album ‘Tears Along the Road’ was selected as Top 25 Favourite by Music Canada; his sophomore 2019 album “Running on the Edge” was a CMAB Top 5 Best Album. As well, Tim is a multiple Country Music Alberta (CMAB) nominee. Raised in southern Alberta and immersed in local history through his upbringing and ancestral ties, Tim also has a practical and academic background in global studies, environmental sciences and Western Canadian history. His new album Prairie Fire is a historical based album of 12 original songs about people and events of the late 19th century Canadian Prairies and Western Plains. Prairie Fire features Tim on acoustic guitar and lead vocals, Jamie Cooper on drums and percussion, Derek Vokins on bass, Jeff Bradshaw on dobro and pedal steel, and Marc Latouche on acoustic and electric guitar and mandolin. Prairie Fire was recorded at DanLyn Studios in Sherwood Park, and was co-produced and engineered by Juno- and Grammy-winning Miles Wilkinson. Tim's CD Release performance at the Ironwood Stage & Grill will be with a full band on Friday, April 12, 2024.
