Velazqvez is an Argentine artist who has been exploring songs with pictorial dyes for more than 15 years. Previously using pseudonyms such as “eldöble” or “El Idiota”, he has explored different genres such as rock, blues, instrumental, love songs, Latin American folklore and African rhythms. He is an artist whose originality deserves an attentive listening. In 2025 during Velazqvez's live performances the audience can expect to see a multi-instrumental set with main relevance of classical guitar combined with electronic drums and other timbres like harmonica, glokenspiel, mandolin, ukulele or synthesizers. The repertoire is based on a combination of own songs and instrumental improvisations that can lead to lyrics as well. He always shares one or two covers of a song well known by the public to generate a bond with the audience. In Calgary some of the bands covered have been Radiohead, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Neil Young, Prince, Eric Clapton, Bob Marley, Daniel Caesar, among others.
