Malissa Rush is a Calgary-based jazz vocalist channelling vintage glamour with a modern wink and a dash of soul.
Inspired by the smoky jazz lounges of the 1940s and 50s, Malissa delivers sultry standards, swing-era classics, and bold cabaret reinventions of contemporary hits.
Whether fronting a horn-driven ensemble or delivering an intimate duo set, she commands the room with warmth, sophistication, and charm.
She is currently the lead vocalist for EH TRAIN Jazz Ensembles and has performed as a guest vocalist with the Fox Big Band and the Woodhouse Big Band.
