To The Contraption consist of lead vocals/acoustic guitar, electric guitar/backing vocals, bass/backing vocals, drums. Their repertoire consists of both originals and covers, with lots of influences from folk, americana and celtic music. The band has sets prepared both for the louder rock clubs and other such venues, and for smaller, more intimate venues such as coffee shops and smaller pubs. For the smaller venues, the instrumentation is as follows: Acoustic guitar/vocals, electric guitar (+ backing vocals if there is space), acoustic bass guitar (and backing vocals if there is space), cajon. The band has been playing frequently with the smaller setting at The Artist's Lounge in Calgary since the fall of 2025, and have played with the louder rock setting at Vern's, Cafe Kawa and Blox Arts Center in Calgary. In April of 2025, recording sessions of the band's original material is in process.
