About
The Three Sisters are a harmony-rich trio crafting sonic journeys full of depth, light, and a touch of magic.
The Three Sisters, comprised of singer-songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Heather Jean Jordan (ukulele, keys, vocals), Irene Poole (ukulele, u-bass, keys, vocals), and Ji Won Baxter (violin, vocals), are a classic folk harmony trio from the mountains of the Bow Valley. A manifestation of pure joy, The Three Sisters weave three distinct voices into a single, luminous sound. Named for Alberta’s iconic mountain range and driven by story, rich harmonies and inventive instrumentation underpin brilliant original songs inspired by folk, jazz, and opera. Since 2024, the trio has delighted audiences with sold out shows at Canmore artsPlace and performances at East Coulee Spring Fest and Canmore Folk Festival. Their members include YYC’s 2025 Emerging Artist and Banff’s Poet Laureate. With a debut album and cross-country tour on the horizon, the Three Sisters are reaching new heights in 2026.
