Riding the recent release of their sophomore album "Pacifico", the Rhythm Makers have been uplifting audiences throughout BC and Montana, performing at festivals such as Tiny Lights, Mission Folk Festival, Harrison Festival of the Arts and Vancouver International Jazz Festival. “A remarkable journey into a world of rhythmic mastery... Layne has made it clear: the marimba is more than an instrument in his hands; it’s a bridge across worlds.” - Sound Cafe
"Deep dance vibes suitable for any crowd" - Vancouver International Jazz Festival
"The blend of Layne's folkloric marimba playing and the jazzier inflections of Jocelyn Waugh's trumpet works nicely throughout" - Songlines Magazine UK review of Pacifico
