Wanderings V’s are an original, versatile alt-country folk rock band, based out of Calgary, Alberta Canada. They're a group of musical friends who've entertained audiences for over 20 years. The V’s include: Craig Recksiedler, golden voiced founder, front man and singer-songwriter; guitar wizard, elder statesman, and resident wise acre Lance Loree; funny, groovy and hardworking Mark Williams on bass; the formidable and captivating Aleksandra Danicic on fiddle; and the V’s current mascot and drummer, Toby Malloy. The V’s repertoire is built around original songs, with some carefully selected covers. Much like the band itself, the music is by turns playful, danceable, heartfelt and sometimes psychedelic. Wandering Vs deliver high-energy sets full of toe-tapping rhythms, clever lyrics, and genre-blurring arrangements. They’re known for fusing country swagger with folk storytelling and a bit of indie grit.
