Originally forming in 2018, Orange Dawn have been on a constant journey of evolution, tackling each piece of music they create as a chance to explore new concepts no matter where they lie on the spectrum of metal. Taking inspiriations from core, thrash, sludge, and nu-metal. While experiencing many line up changes, and collaborating with many different artists, the main driving force behind the project has been the playing styles of producer and guitarist Akili McMackin, and bassist Alex Lynn. The band would release their first EP Constellations in February of 2023, featuring fan favorite tracks such as Lost and Gravity Decay, which explores the band’s heavier influences. On February 5th 2025 the band would release their first in house produced single entitled Pigs. Pigs would be the first expedition the band would take into a sluge influenced sound, while painting a wide landscape of pollution, greed, and human corruption
