Denis Laing, known as "verticalpark," is a Calgary-based electronic music producer and performer. Inspired by artists like Jean-Michel Jarre and Gary Numan, his journey into electronic music began at a young age when he got his first synthesizer. Transitioning from studio experimentation to live performances during his time at the University of Alberta, Denis has continuously embraced new technologies, evolving his sound from experimental to melodic house. As "verticalpark," he takes listeners on a sonic odyssey, blending melodic rhythms and house beats to create immersive musical landscapes.
