Dylan Decker is a consummate pianist who combines the rich and rooted traditions of the Big Easy with the colorful aspects of modern jazz.
Dylan Decker is a pianist, composer, improviser, and educator living in New Orleans, Louisiana. He has performed at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, Essence Festival, and French Quarter Festival. His music combines elements of modern jazz, New Orleans rhythm and blues, and soul music, to name a few. Dylan continues to perform regularly both as a leader and as a sideman around New Orleans. Dylan has studied with master musicians such as Sullivan Fortner, Brian Seeger, Oscar Rossignoli, and Victor Atkins III, as he holds a Bachelor's Degree of the Arts from the University of New Orleans.
