Belinda Butler radiates an earthy and uplifting charm, immediately apparent in her performances and her effortless connection with audiences. Refreshing and authentic, with an honesty that reflects her Australian roots, her songs are shaped by a voice of subtlety and beauty, one that alternately shimmers and powers to the heart of things. A seasoned performer, Butler has graced showcases and festivals across Australia and North America. Now a Louisiana resident, she and her band, Nell & Bel, have appeared on the WWLTV show Great Day Louisiana, performed at the Maple Leaf Bar, and delighted audiences at Po’Boy Fest and Bicycle Fest. She has also sung the national anthem three times for the NBA as one-third of the sublime Chickpeas Trio. In Australia, Belinda performed for the Indonesian President and for executives from Volvo Sweden, Ford America, and African Life. She has appeared at festivals including the Queenscliff Music Festival, Gympie Music Muster, and Undara Rock & Blues Festival, and held a popular residency at Bar 36 at the Reef Hotel Casino in Cairns as part of the Sunbird Trio. Belinda is currently in production on a new recording with Nell & Bel.
