The Calgary Jazz Academy is the educational division of the Calgary Jazz Orchestra. The CJA allows students to learn from, and play with, professional musicians and educators from the CJO.
Big Band power and jazz combo art is what can be expected in each performance. Each ensemble is made up of musicians at all ages and stages of musical development. Ensembles perform jazz standards, blues and some more modern tunes.
