It is rumored that when Carla was born she came out singing "That's Alright Mama" She never looked back and has been creating and performing music all of her life. She has played in an Elvis tribute band, toured with country and alt-country acts. Carla has released 3 CDs to date and is currently working on a 4th CD with songs about trains. Carla is also proud to share that she is a Music Therapist Accredited. This training has enhanced her ability to read a crowd and relate on a personal level with anyone in earshot. The musical styles range from 80/90 rock, country, alt-country and Canadiana. She plays acoustic and guitar, stand up bass and electric bass professionally as well as singing - solo or in a group. Her most recent side gig was playing bass with Metis artist, Laura Vinson, for 10 years before Laura passed away last July. If she doesn't know the song, she'll learn it. Carla is comfortable performing as a solo artist - just her and her acoustic guitar - up to a 5 piece band with all of the fixings/
