Originally from Prince Edward Island, April grew up singing and fell in love with performing at a young age. She pursued her dream of studying musical theatre at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC, and has been performing professionally in theatres across Canada ever since. Her most recent credits include: Beehive: The 60's Musical, New Sound In Town - Stage West, Dolly: Here She Comes Again, Into The Woods (Witch) - Carter-Ryan Productions (Canmore), Legally Blonde (Swing) – Theatre Calgary/Citadel, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, Patsy Cline, 9 to 5 (Doralee), Canadian Superstars & Feelin’ Groovy, Legends of Country (Dolly Parton) – Stage West, Hairspray - Theatre Aquarius, Mayfield Dinner Theatre, Drayton Entertainment, Charlottetown Festival, Wizard of Oz (Dorothy), The Sound of Music (Maria) - Live @ The Centre/PEI, Anne of Green Gables, Disco-Cirque, British Invasion 2 - Charlottetown Festival April moved to Calgary in 2019, and shortly after joined Calgary's singing ensemble Revv52 where she met and performed alongside many talented local performers and musicians. Although musical theatre will be continue to be an important part of April's performance career, she is excited to branch out within Calgary's music community by performing and singing, just for the love of it!
