The band met in junior high and together built up an electrifying repertoire of original material that quickly caught the eyes and ears of Canada. After releasing two LPs, they gained further exposure on CTV’s “The Launch”, garnering a number one single. The Static Shift has been fortunate enough to play at venues in Calgary such as The Blues Can, The Ironwood, The Ship and Anchor, the Jubilee Auditorium and The Palace Theatre.
