Heritage Park is an iconic Calgary Landmark with its beautiful location, vintage Calgary Histories, and over 180 exhibits and 55,000 artifacts. Heritage Park first opened its gates on July 1, 1964, and it has grown into one of Calgary’s premier tourist attractions. It includes historial area tours, fine dining kiosks and restaurants, live music and many other onging attractions. And certainly for the upcoming Christmas season, there are very few settings that are the equal of Heritage Park. So on December 15th Christmas-Cheer-Songs will be our focus. Requests are welcome, as are added voices to help with the Season's Cheer! The location of the music within Heritage Park is in the Chautauqua Tent Stage. It is some distance from the front gates, but ask any Heritage Park staff member and they will direct you to that location. Specifically David will play three consectutive sets for 40 minutes each, starting at 1:00 p.m. and ending at 3:40 p.m, so there are several times frames to choose from. For some background, through vocals and guitar, David plays a variety of music covering many decades, including country, jazz, pop, and some originals and instrumentals. And given the December date and the Christmas Season now in full-swing, David will be focusing on popular and well known songs of the Season! In his past experiences David has performed at music festivals in Calgary and Southern Alberta, and Kaslo BC. He has also enertained at The Calgary Zoo, Heritage Park, The Calgary Winter Club, plus many restaurants in Calgary on an ongoing basis, and has also been fortunate enough to entertain at weddings and other milestone celebrations.
