Belinda Avila is the director/choreographer of the folkloric dance group known as NOHA since 2008. Her research includes dances from Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Colombia. The cultural dances NOHA performs is called folklore or folklorico and its a mixture of creole, indigenous roots, and colonial influence. In preserving Latino heritage, she conducts workshops and youth based activities for the community.
