New Orleans based vocalist Laura Doyle has made her way through Louisiana blurring the lines of theater, R&B, and jazz, while creating an outlet for the musicality for her band, YOUSE. Laura has generated a creative space to spread innovative musical ideas within themselves, as well as a community of like-minded artists. Her influences range from creators such as Hiatus Kaiyote and Robert Glasper for ideas of chordal structure for her original music, and take performance inspiration from artists such as Irving Berlin and Richard Rodgers for her jazz project. After gaining multiple residencies in New Orleans and headlining her own shows throughout the years, she is currently working on recording and releasing her debut album “Edelweiss” which will also feature her band, YOUSE. This is expected to be released for Christmas 2025.
