Rosie Crisp is a Calgary-based Canadian singer-songwriter whose music blends powerful vocals and authentic storytelling into a fresh, modern country sound. A true city girl with a country soul, she draws inspiration from artists like Shania Twain, Lainey Wilson, and Maren Morris, combining country roots with catchy pop hooks, rock energy, and an independent spirit. With a background in vocal performance and music education from the University of Lethbridge, Rosie developed a strong musical foundation through years of piano, guitar, and vocal training. She began writing her own songs at 18 during the COVID-19 pandemic, eventually releasing her debut single, “Your Guitar,” a heartfelt tribute to her late father and the influence he had on her decision to pursue music. Since then, she has released five original songs across streaming platforms, with more music on the way. In March 2025, Rosie made her artist debut at Cowboy’s Music Festival’s The Opener competition, advancing to the finals with just her voice and acoustic guitar. Since then, she has performed at venues across Alberta and beyond, including Nashville, continuing to build her presence as a live performer. Whether performing solo, as an acoustic duo, or with a full band, Rosie brings a versatile blend of original music and cross-genre covers to the stage. With powerhouse vocals, heartfelt delivery, and a genuine connection to the music she performs, Rosie Crisp creates captivating live experiences that resonate with audiences of all kinds.
