The Loft is the intimate upstairs room at Half Hitch Brewing Company in Cochrane, Alberta built for close listening. Table lamps do the lighting instead of overheads, so the space stays warm, low, and a little moody - more living room than venue. Seating is soft and clustered rather than rowed, which keeps the room conversational between sets and attentive during them.

It seats 50, close enough that a performer doesn't need to project to reach the back wall. Cocktails and bites are served throughout, so guests can settle in and stay.

Good fit for: singer-songwriters, small acoustic sets, spoken word, listening-room formats, and private events.
