Stark Sky is an Alberta-based acoustic country duo blending heart, harmony, and a little edge. Formed in 2023, the duo features vocalist/multi-instrumentalists Mark Ferguson and Stacey Fedigan, two classically trained musicians who found their true voices far beyond the recital hall. Both started out as pianists under the Royal Conservatory and trained as classical vocalists, but their musical tastes took them down different, equally passionate paths. Stacey was drawn to the raw honesty of country and folk icons like Alison Krauss, The Chicks, and The Civil Wars. Mark chased the bold, intricate sounds of prog rock legends like Rush and Yes. Somehow, it works. Their setlist spans country, folk, and pop—with original songs woven in for good measure.
