Laurie Kerr is known for her soulful delivery of original songs which tend to say something deeper about life. Musical influences such as Bonnie Raitt, Sheryl Crow, and Brandi Carlile helped to shape her writing and eclectic brand of Americana. A seasoned performer, Laurie toured western Canada with the rock band China White before moving to Nashville where she lived and worked as a professional singer/songwriter for 19 years. As a staff writer on Music Row, she played regularly at the world-famous Bluebird Cafe, and hosted a series of songwriter nights in and around the Music City.
