About the artist
“Métis folk-roots singer-songwriter who weaves warmth, cultural roots, and the spirit of music as medicine into performances with songs in Cree, French and English that connect across cultures. ”
Tiffany Sparrow is a soulful folk-roots singer-songwriter from Northern Alberta whose music blends acoustic warmth with cultural depth.
A Métis artist and certified music therapist, she creates from the belief that music is medicine. She crafts songs and curates covers that center on resilience and growth and that blend English with Cree, French, Sanskrit and more. Her albums “Good Place” and “Journey On”, produced by award winning Stew Kirkwood, explore personal and collective healing. With a grounded, heart-centered presence, her sound evokes Brandi Carlisle, Sarah McLachlan, Jason Mraz and Leela Gilday.
An experienced touring artist, she’s performed across BC, Alberta, Quebec, and internationally in India, Australia, and Indonesia. Her music has been featured on CBC and CTV and has been shared at festivals, conferences, and Indigenous community programs across Canada. She is poised for expanded national and international touring, always bringing a rare mix of artistry, playfulness, and heart. Tiffany bridges the spirit of song with wellness and cultural awareness, bringing her training as a music therapist, ethnomusicolgist and yogi to her performances. At the core of her work is an invitation: to listen differently to yourself, to one another, and to the harmonies that connect us all.
