About
At Cornerstone Music Cafe, every second Saturday of the month we intentionally feature Indigenous artists as part of our Weekend Brunch programming.
For the month of June, in recognition of National Indigenous History Month, all Weekend Brunch performances will feature Indigenous artists.
As a Métis-owned business, supporting Indigenous musicians, storytellers, and community voices is deeply important to us. We are proud to create space where culture, music, food, and community can meet in a meaningful way.
Event Time
Weekend Brunch Live Music:
- Saturdays: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Sundays: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Audience & Atmosphere
We do not charge admission for brunch performances because we want live music to remain accessible and welcoming for all guests.
Guests are encouraged to show appreciation for performers through in-person tips or online tipping platforms.
Performer Compensation
- Solo artist: $125 paid by e-transfer at the end of the performance
- Duo: $175 paid by e-transfer
All performances are streamed live on Facebook, so we encourage artists to have a Stagehand account set up for additional online tipping opportunities.
Performer Hospitality
As a thank you for sharing your talent, each performer receives:
- One complimentary meal
- One complimentary beverage
This is our way of showing appreciation for the time, preparation, and energy you bring to our space.
Sound & Setup
Performers are welcome to bring their own sound equipment if preferred. We also have a small in-house sound system available.
Our brunch environment is intimate and community-focused, with families, students, parents, and café guests all sharing in the experience.
