Open Air Stage & Garden: Performance Program Overview
Program Description: Welcome to our Open Air Stage & Garden, where live music brings our community together during weekend brunches. We invite talented performers to share their music in a beautiful outdoor setting in front of our cafe. Performances take place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Compensation:
- Solo performers receive $125 at the end of their set, payable e-transfer by the following Monday.
- Duos receive $175 per performance.
- Performers also enjoy a complimentary meal and beverage as a token of our appreciation.
Preferred Genre: We welcome a variety of genres to create a diverse and vibrant musical atmosphere. Whether you play folk, jazz, acoustic rock, blues, or any other genre that complements a relaxed brunch setting, we would love to hear from you.
Audience Admission: We believe in promoting talented performers without charging admission fees. We encourage our guests to show their appreciation through tips, either in person or online.
Business Terms:
- All performances will be live-streamed on Facebook. Performers are encouraged to set up a Stagehand account for online tipping.
- Performers may bring their amplification or play acoustically.
- The stage is outdoors and exposed to the elements, so be prepared for morning shade and afternoon sun. In case of inclement weather, performances will be moved indoors.
Facility Details: Our Open Air Stage & Garden offers a picturesque and welcoming setting for live music, with natural light and a scenic backdrop that create a relaxed and intimate atmosphere for both performers and guests. Because the stage is located along the sidewalk facing the patio, we recommend keeping your setup simple and compact. A small speaker, guitar amp, and microphone are usually ideal, and acoustic performances work especially well in the space. If weather conditions are uncertain, performances can easily be moved indoors so the event can continue comfortably for both artists and guests
